My Global Adventures

Hello! My name is Kyndall Albury, and this is my Global ePortfolio. With the completion of this ePortfolio, I hope to earn a Global Distinction Award. This ePortfolio features globalized coursework I have completed throughout my college journey, accounts of my globalized cultural experiences, and image collections to accompany each cultural experience. As you navigate through my ePortfolio, you will gain an understanding of my experiences in the Global Studies Program, and how they have enriched my global perspective.

About Me

     Hello! My name is Kyndall Albury. I am currently a

student at Lakeland Collegiate High School at Polk

State College. Through the high school, I will graduate

with both my high school diploma and associate's

degree in the Spring of 2025. After I graduate from high

school, I will pursue a PhD in psychology at a university.

While doing so, I will enter the career field of pediatric

psychology/psychiatry. I hope to utilize my education

to help children who are struggling with mental

conditions and disorders.

     I developed my interest in pediatric psychology as I worked with children throughout middle school and high school. I realized that I enjoyed helping the children process their emotions, and I have always been interested in psychology, so when I considered a career in pediatric psychiatry, it made sense. This is why I will take every opportunity I am provided with to ensure my success. The Global Studies Program is one such opportunity, and I intend to take it very seriously.
